Jess Glynne has become the latest artist to receive a BRIT Billion Award celebrating one Billion streams in the UK.
Dr Jo Twist OBE, Chief Executive of UK record labels association, the BPI, has called on government and the music industry to come together to promote British music and human artistry at a time of increasing global competition and fast-rising challenges, particularly those posed by generative AI.

UK record labels association, the BPI, will today host In Tune With Tomorrow, a half-day conference that will focus on education and the talent pipeline, whilst also exploring how our industry can grow sustainably and equitably through human-led creativity and innovative fan engagement.
AIM (The Association of Independent Music) and the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) have appointed Roxy Erickson, co-founder of sustainability consultancy Creative Zero, as Project Manager to lead on the next phase of the Music Climate Pact.
The BRIT Awards with Mastercard today celebrates the success of its strategic partnership with Meta for the 2024 show; achieving significant growth and engagement across official BRITs social channels.
